Hey guys, made a new youtube video last night called the pros and cons and dos and don’ts of romaji
If you’re a beginner in Japanese, or are just interested in my opinion on the use of romaji, please go check it out :D
This is good practice for making sentences! This is great now that we know how to ask/talk about someone’s nationality, age, year in school, occupation, etc. (refer to the vocab post for any words forgotten) Here are some examples, to get started:
たけしさんはにほんじんです。
メアリーさんのせんもんはにほんごです。
やましたせんせいはよじゅうななさいです。
Have fun practicing, everyone! :D
Similar to our day post :)
Week before last - Sensenshuu せんせんしゅう 先々週
Last week - Senshuu せんしゅう 先週
This week - Konshuu こんしゅう 今週
Next week - Raishuu らいしゅう 来週
Week after next - Saraishuu さらいしゅう 再来週
So if someone asks “When is the homework due?” you could say something like Konshuu no kin’youbi 今週の金曜日 Friday of this week.
